About a year ago, I began Vlogging “The Making of My Truth” on my YouTube Channel.
It was a behind-the-scenes look at my transformational journey to becoming a published author (back then, a memoir) and motivational speaker, all while juggling motherhood and practicing a long-time love: cinematography and filmmaking. Vlogging afforded me the opportunity to do all of those things, talk about them on video and edit/play with the way it was delivered to you.
Book writing has evolved for me over the last year. I never published the memoir that I wrote and paid a professional editor to edit. But I will. One day.
Last May, I made the decision to turn my memoir into a piece of women’s romantic fiction. Same principles, slightly different story, and of course, different characters. Although, much of my life experience rests within its pages.
I’m not sure I will Vlog again. It’s fun and allows me to hone my skills on all levels–in front of and behind the camera as well as the editing room. However, it’s a time-consuming act. And with all I juggle on a day-to-day basis, I’ve taken a break from it for now.
